Pati\u00f1o Foundation for the 1st and 2nd place winners, who, along with the most outstanding participants, were awarded as part of the coordination with partners to be part of the \u201cTigre Gente\u201d Traveling Cinema in the Main Square, where families were thrilled watching the short video \u201cAbuela Grillo\u201d.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2529\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2529\" style=\"width: 818px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2529\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saviabolivia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/12-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"818\" height=\"611\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2529\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Awards and incentives from the Sim\u00f3n Pati\u00f1o Foundation were presented.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The highlight of the evening was the film &quot;Tiger People,&quot; a National Geographic production that, through the story of a Bolivian park ranger and a Japanese journalist, exposes and denounces the trafficking of jaguars from Bolivia to China\u2014a complex reality that the documentary portrays to promote conservation policies for the species. The Mayor also addressed the audience, expressing his gratitude for the activities.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2530\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2530\" style=\"width: 816px\" San Jose Marbin Barbery, delivering his remarks on the occasion.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>It should be noted that the jaguar or tiger is a wild animal that has been venerated since ancient times for its strength and power, and that despite being of utmost importance for the balance of ecosystems, its survival is at risk, both from poaching and trafficking of parts, as well as from the destruction or transformation of its habitat by agriculture and livestock.<\/p>\n<p>The events were organized by the Savia Association in coordination with the Autonomous Municipal Government of San Jos\u00e9 de Chiquitos, the Kaa-Iya del Gran Chaco National Park ANMI, Pachamama Sabia and the Tigre Gente team, and the actions were framed in favor of the objectives of the project \u201c<em>Women artisans and young people from San Jos\u00e9 as promoters of the conservation of the ANMI Kaa-Iya National Park\u201d<\/em>, which is supported by the UNDP Small Grants Programme in Bolivia and seeks to train young people as Chiquitano Environmental Multipliers, as well as support local artisanal production by women.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone
