In the Municipality of San Jos\u00e9 de Chiquitos, the Savia Association shared an initiative involving actions with women and young people, seeking to contribute to strengthening the conservation of the ANMI Kaa-Iya del Gran Chaco National Park and its connectivity with the UCPN Santa Cruz la Vieja.<\/p>\n

Central TURUB\u00d3, San Jos\u00e9 Women Artisans Association and the UCPN Santa Cruz la Vieja Protection Corps<\/strong><\/h5>\n

To launch the transgenerational transmission mechanism from which high school students will be trained as Chiquitano Environmental Multipliers, an initial contact has been made with the Departmental Directorate of Education in Santa Cruz and the District Directorate of San Jos\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Regarding gender considerations, the project was shared with the two participating associations: the artisans of the TURUBO Indigenous Central and the San Jos\u00e9 de Chiquitos Women Artisans Association; as well as with the Santa Cruz la Vieja Protected Area Protection Corps. The initiative was also presented to the President of the San Jos\u00e9 Municipal Council, Luzmery Abrego, and the President of the Education, Culture, and Tourism Commission, Vilma L\u00f3pez.<\/p>\n

Socialization of the Project by the Association<\/span> Sap<\/h5>\n

With the San Jos\u00e9 Municipal Government (GAM San Jos\u00e9), technical progress has been made with the Tourism Representative to coordinate activities that align with a shared agenda, which will be formalized through an Inter-institutional Agreement. It is worth noting that the project has been well-received by all stakeholders, who have expressed their willingness to collaborate on initiatives that further promote socio-environmental awareness among the residents of San Jos\u00e9 and enhance the appreciation of the cultural and natural heritage of Santa Cruz.<\/p>\n
