Union of Efforts for Conservation: The 8th Great Workshop 2025

On July 23 and 24, 2025, the 8th Annual Workshop of the Association of Protected Area Management Committees (ACGAPCHCHPA) brought together key stakeholders from the Chaco, Chiquitania, Pantanal, and Amazon regions to review progress and define new actions related to governance, legislation, and fire management. This event marked a milestone in the consolidation of a regional network of management committees.

Dialoguing for the Future of Protected Areas

The institutional opening gave way to an intense exchange of ideas on how to strengthen the management of protected areas and environmental conservation.

Expected Long-Term Results

This workshop consolidated commitments for the implementation of inter-institutional actions in the region, which will include water management, fire prevention and the strengthening of governance and community participation in conservation.
